AI, a crucial issue
A ubiquitous impact
AI is at the heart of today’s news and is already redefining our immediate environment, our cities, and our relationship with technology. Its scope is unprecedented.
A matter of deployment
The question is no longer whether AI will become widespread, but rather how we choose to deploy it—and in whose service.
Responsible and Inclusive AI
As members of Arborus, we affirm that AI must be designed and operated in a responsible and inclusive way, for everyone. The challenge is to make ethical AI viable and widespread.
Constat
AI in the City
AI Already Present in Our Cities
Artificial intelligence is already deployed in our cities for waste management, water management, accessibility, and risk prevention, impacting many aspects of urban life.
Lack of an ethical and inclusive strategy
Despite its deployment, this integration of AI often takes place without a clear ethical or inclusive strategy, raising questions about its long-term impact.
Arborus’ Commitment to Inclusive AI
AI is at the heart of today’s news and is already redefining our immediate environment, our cities, and our relationship with technology. Its scale is unprecedented.
Mobilizing Stakeholders for Our Charter
The central question is: how can we encourage local authorities, public institutions, companies, start-ups, and laboratories to embrace the fundamental principles of our Charter in order to shape the cities and buildings of tomorrow?
Why This Award?
Our conviction is that the concrete application of our Charter to specific projects will demonstrate the value of inclusive AI.
To achieve this, it is crucial to raise awareness among key stakeholders and highlight their exemplary practices, so that they become inspiring role models for the entire sector.
We propose establishing an Inclusive AI Award SCSB.
This award will create an incentive for responsible AI by positively recognizing committed projects and companies.
A Citizen Dimension
Demonstrate the possibility of integrating a citizen dimension at the heart of these technologies, ensuring that AI truly serves everyone.
A Strengthened Ecosystem
Strengthen a responsible ecosystem between public authorities, the city, and its citizens, fostering harmonious collaboration for the urban future.
Leading by Example
Promote AI literacy through proof, by concretely demonstrating that it is possible to develop and deploy AI differently and in a more inclusive way.
The Award will be based on the 7 principles
of the Charter for Inclusive AI.
THE COMPANIES SIGNING THIS CHARTER COMMIT TO :
